Of course, if you fly into St. Louis, the best place to rent a van would be the airport as you have many options of companies in one location, but also the ease of picking up and dropping off conveniently. Otherwise, you have two Avis location options near the Metrolink Stadium in downtown St. Louis. Outside of downtown, there are 3 Budget Car Rental locations near Des Peres at Watson Road, Manchester Road, and Lindbergh Business Court.
The cars are tracked both for safety and communications purposes. The vans are equipped with the latest trackers to ensure that your needs and your goods are taken care of even once the deal is closed. For example, in the case the van needs fixing, it will be easy.
Hertz, Budget, and Avis car rental companies all have different options of vans to offer, but you will most likely see brands like Chrysler, Dodge, and Ford on one or more of their lists. You might also find popular brands like Nissan, Toyota, or Kia. Which van you choose may depend on how much luggage or equipment you have, how many people are joining you on vacation, or a combination of the two. If you have 4-6 people with luggage, you may find that a minivan will work perfectly. If so then you will have more options of the brands above. If your group is a bit bigger or you have a lot of luggage, you may need something with more room. This means you might be looking at more full-size van options. If that’s the case, you’ll probably be looking more in the Chevrolet and Ford options.
KAYAK compares van rental prices from all major car rental companies such as Thrifty, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, Payless and more to find you the best deal.

Pros:
Pick up & Drop off was as near perfect as possible.Cons:
I was not thrilled with the vehicle but that was NOT Alamo's fault. It was the make and model of the pickup. (I would not buy this truck). I think the exit of lot could be marked better but it was not horrible.2.0 Poor

Cons:
I reserved my car over a month in advance and was called the day before my arrival to Saint Louis airport. They stated they could not pick me up and I had to start a new reservation. The price increased dramatically (from $250 to $550) for the same time period. I called customer service and they could do nothing for me. I was forced to cancel my reservation with them and decided to go to their competitor which was Hertz. I paid $30 less but had somewhat better service.10.0 Wonderful

Pros:
They told me to take an Emerald Aisle car, which voided Kayak rate. Paid $200 more than quoted. Beware of STL location. On top of it, they were rude and condescending. One location in St. Louis
